Slavik Management, LLC was formed in 2007 by Richard Slavik after gaining 26 years of property management experience at the Fourmidable Group, Inc. – fourteen years as the Property Supervisor of over 2,100 apartment units and twelve years as President of the Company. Specializing in managing, marketing and leasing market-rate apartments, Slavik Management’s current portfolio consists of over 2,100 rental units in communities throughout Oakland and Washtenaw counties.

Rick’s commitment to his clients, residents and employees continues through the expert management skills provided by the Company’s Vice President of Operations, Jane Bevins, and Bree Slavik, Property Supervisor. Under the leadership of its current President, Stephan F. Slavik, the Company constantly looks for ways to improve the appearance and operation of the communities it manages. Financial expertise is provided by the Company’s other Vice Presidents, John Frasco and Eric Gold – both of whom are CPA’s.

Rick and Steve both gained tremendous knowledge and experience from a lifetime spent working with their father, Stephan F. Slavik, Sr., and their Uncle Joe Slavik. Between 1955 and 1994, the elder Slavik Brothers had developed, constructed and/or managed:

  • twenty-seven senior communities containing over five thousand apartment units – offering seniors companionship, independence and security;
  • thirteen condominium projects in Southeast Michigan and Florida’s Gulf Coast totaling more than 1,500 residences;
  • more than fifty subdivisions containing in excess of 6,000 single-family homes; and
  • more than 8,000 apartment units and townhomes.

Through various partnerships and joint ventures, the elder Slavik Brothers were also involved in the development or construction of golf course and other planned communities, retail centers, over 2,700 hotel rooms in six states and a major Casino.

The forethought and vision that provided their residents with such innovative amenities as wall-to-wall carpeting, installed draperies, carports and balconies (unheard of at the time these brothers first introduced them) – continues to this day.
